Bill And Sandy Brown Owners Disan Corporation was established in 1963 as a woman owned, small business entity and has been designing, manufacturing and repairing military and commercial electronics systems and subsystems for airborne and ground usage since 1968. Disan has successfully delivered thousands of end items for over 1,500 prime contracts with the United States Department of Defense (DOD) and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). In 2002, HUBZone status was awarded to Disan Corporation by the SBA. Our product line predominately encompasses equipment associated with radar, guidance and communications. They include, not only products for the Air Force and FAA, but agencies of the Army and Navy as well as the Canadian Air Transport Service in Vancouver, Spartan Aviation and the National Weather Bureau. Many of our original units are still in service after 30 years. In Viet Nam, Asia and around the world, the Disan name has been represented in the products provided. The majority of the design and manufacturing processes are accomplished in-house, thus assuring a high degree of quality control in accordance with MIL-I-45208(a). Our company profile presently combines a staff of Electrical , Mechanical, Machine Design and Production Engineers with a total of over 200 years experience. Engineering Assistants, Graduate Draft personnel and several Technicians support them. Disan employs a total workforce of over 60.
